How information is used
Solar360 uses this information to authenticate users, maintain profiles and sites, assess service requests, coordinate visits, verify payments, resolve service issues, and protect access to the service.
Who processes information
Google Firebase provides authentication. Authorized Solar360 staff access information needed for their roles and assigned work. Mapping and address-search features use external providers; the current code uses OpenFreeMap map tiles and Photon address search. These providers receive the requests needed to supply those features.
Website, backend, and database hosting providers may process technical request information while delivering the service.
Permissions and choices
You can manage location and camera permissions in your device settings. Declining a permission may prevent a feature that needs it from working. Contact support to ask about access to or correction of your personal information.
Account deletion
Request deletion by emailing thesolar360@gmail.com. See the account-deletion page for instructions. You do not need to sign in or reinstall the app to send a request.
Response and completion times
We aim to acknowledge requests within 3 working days and complete deletion within 30 days after verifying account ownership. We will email you when processing is complete and explain any information retained and why.
Data covered by deletion
The request covers your Solar360 sign-in account and associated personal data, including profile details, site addresses and coordinates, uploaded photos, and service records, subject to the limited retention exceptions below. Deleting your Solar360 account does not delete your Google account.
Limited retention
Only records necessary for applicable accounting obligations, security or fraud prevention, or resolving an outstanding payment, refund, or dispute may be retained. Access will be restricted and retained records will not be used to keep your account active. Unrelated personal data is still covered by the deletion request.
If you have an upcoming booking or unresolved refund, tell us in your request so the team can explain how it will be handled. You can submit a deletion request while an issue is being resolved.
Contact and changes
